I just wanna live a life

full of steamy, aromatic teas

the ones spiced with

cinnamon and cloves

full of arguments that bring out

our honest, bare emotions

tearing each other apart just

so we can up-cycle

our bullshit to fertilize our

own buried hearts

full of that kind of soft light

filtered through tree leaves

how you can lie

on your back and see all the

dust floating in the air

full of friends who hold living

eulogies for one another

sharing secrets of all the

moments we made the other smile

full of hillsides

covered in pristine, untouched snow

shimmering in the sunlight

a billion, trillion individual

snowflakes building together a puzzle

piece landscape of icy perfection

I just wanna live a life full of poetry read

so passionately the breathes

between refrains sound like you’re

drowning, but you’re not drowning

you’re not drowning

you’re not
